About the speakers
Yingqian Zhang is an Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and specializes in Artificial Intelligence for decision-making. Her research focuses on machine learning, deep reinforcement learning, data-driven optimization, and socially aware algorithms. She holds leadership roles, including Chair of the Benelux Association for Artificial Intelligence (BNVKI) and is a member of the technical board of the European Big Data Value Association (BDVA).
Judith van Stegeren is a machine learning engineer. She is a co-founder of Datakami, a specialized software engineering company in generative AI. Datakami offers remote expertise to technology companies that have AI at their core. Judith holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Twente, where she researched text generation in the early days of Large Language Models. Today, she helps companies solve the unique challenges of running generative AI models in production, focusing on developing new applications and improving existing models and infrastructure.
