DESCRIPTION:Ontdek de wereld van mahjong! Veel Nederlanders hebben het klassieke spel in de kast staan\, maar wie kent alle regels echt? En hoe zit het met die mysterieuze stokjes? Mahjong kent vele varianten. Misschien ken je de Japanse riichi-variant uit anime-films\, waarin geduld en het vermijden van verlies cruciaal zijn. Of misschien heb je ooit in China mensen op straat zien spelen in de snelle\, combinatiegerichte Hong Kong-variant. Voor de Chinese Mahjong Competition Rules (MCR) zijn strategisch denken en een vleugje opportunisme vereist. Natuurlijk is er de online-variant waarbij je paren moet zoeken\, maar die gaan we op deze middag lekker online laten. We hebben immers een aantal mooie spellen voor ons staan. \nWat gaan we doen? \nSpelen! Vooral spelen. We richten ons op MCR\, bij veel interesse organiseren we ook een bijeenkomst rond riichi. Na een korte uitleg over de basistermen en hoe het spel te beginnen gaan we aan de bak. \nAan bod zullen komen: \n\nHoe start je het spel (plaatsbepaling\, muur bouwen\, speelrichting)\nDe termen pung\, kong\, chow\nHoe maak je een geldige mahjonghand\nPuntentelling\n\nAls je al gevorderd bent maar nieuwe inzichten wilt opdoen\, ben je ook van harte welkom. He turned the IP organization from a cost center into a successful global profit and loss operation with full transparency of the return on IP investments at every business and product level in the company. \n\n\n\nAfter his retirement\, he established his own IP consultancy company advising large and small companies in a broad spectrum of IP matters. He is an (advisory) board member in a number of companies and institutes in Europe\, USA\, Israel\, and China. He is Guest Professor at the School of Management of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou\, China. DESCRIPTION:CHINA CAFE over China’s vergrijzende bevolking: wat zijn de vooruitzichten en wat wordt eraan gedaan?\nMet gastspreker Henk Schulte Nordholt en Thijs de Blok \nDe naderende demografische uitdagingen waar China voor staat\, zullen naar alle waarschijnlijkheid economische\, sociale\, culturele\, consumenten- en (geo)politieke implicaties hebben. Projecties\, volgens Statista\, schatten in dat de bevolking van 60 jaar en ouder in 2060 40 procent zal hebben bereikt. Het fenomeen van een aanhoudend laag vruchtbaarheidscijfer gekoppeld aan een snel vergrijzende bevolking\, is in veel landen over de hele wereld te zien is. Toch zijn er in het geval van China verschillende oorzaken aan te wijzen en zullen die heel waarschijnlijk buitengewone gevolgen hebben. Met een kleinere beroepsbevolking en een lagere productiviteit\, hoe zullen die\, bijvoorbeeld\, het nationale inkomen van het land bepalen? \nHi-tech innovaties zullen in verschillende marktsectoren zelfs nog urgenter worden om de slinkende arbeidstekorten voor te blijven. Welke sectoren zullen vooral de crisis voelen en hoe zal het fysieke landschap eruitzien als het bevolkingsaantal eind deze eeuw terugloopt tot 800 miljoen? Hebben de besluitvormers van China de kracht en visie om met ongekende oplossingen te komen én vast te houden aan hun internationale en binnenlandse doelstellingen? Zal China in staat zijn de economie te versterken met een groeidoelstelling van vijf procent\, terwijl er balans nodig is om  verschillende vormen van mondiale druk het hoofd te bieden? En zullen de afnemende cijfers een positief effect hebben op de genderkloof? \nKan gemeenschapszorg in een samenleving die millennia lang heeft vertrouwd op confucianistische waarden\, met kinderlijke vroomheid als een van haar kernwaarden\, een uitweg bieden nu het Chinese geboortecijfer op een historisch laag niveau staat? Welke maatregelen nemen overheidsinstanties en bedrijven om de uitdagingen op de korte en lange termijn aan te pakken waarmee Chinese senioren worden geconfronteerd? Denk aan betaalbare en op maat gemaakte gezondheidszorg en verzekeringen voor ouderen\, preventie van ouderdomsziekten\, het bevorderen van zelfredzaamheid en veerkracht!  Volgens het China Internet Network Information Center worden Chinese senioren digitaal vaardiger en zijn internetgebruikers boven de 60 gestegen van 30 miljoen in 2016 naar 153 miljoen in 2022. Het is dus niet allemaal kommer en kwel. En\, wat willen de Chinese senioren eigenlijk? \nIn dit China Café kijken we hoe een Nederlandse organisatie haar filosofie en bedrijfsmodel heeft weten te introduceren en implementeren zodat deze past bij de traditionele Chinese opvattingen over het geven van persoonlijke zorg aan senioren. \nBuurtzorg China(Neighbourhood Care) heeft haar concept van ouderenzorg vanaf 2017 inmiddels in zeven steden weten uit te rollen en richt zich sterk op ziektepreventie en de empowerment van senioren. Hoe heeft Buurtzorg China zijn zorgverleners en verpleegsters geëmancipeerd en heeft het de gemeenschapszorg rond de ouderen georganiseerd? Bestaat er een bedrijfsrisico?
