On behalf of Dutch photographic artist Wouter van Buuren and the Goethe-Institut Hong Kong, we are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Expanding Perspectives – Cities explored and reconstructed by Wouter van Buuren at the Goethe-Gallery, 9 September 2016 (Friday), 6PM.
Wouter van Buuren will present his spectacular landscape reconstructions for the first time in Hong Kong. Each of the works is a matrix of photographs the artist took from multiple rooftops in one day. The viewer can imagine himself hovering above the urban landscape and experience an ever-expanding perspective; from the edges of the buildings to the horizon, traversing different areas. The work features cities like Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Chongqing. The exhibition will be officially opened by the Consul-General of the Netherlands Ms. Annemieke Ruigrok and will be followed by a reception. Program Friday 9 September: We are looking forward to welcoming you on Friday, 9 September, 2016. Sincerely, On behalf of the organizing committee, Wouter van Buuren Address : Exhibition dates : More information: |
