Whether you’re a true China expert or just curious about the rich culture, history, and fascinating facts of both China and China in the Netherlands, the VNC China Pubquiz has something for everyone! It’s the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge, make new friends, and share some laughs over funny, interesting, and sometimes surprising questions.

1) Sign Up as a Team
Gather at least 4 and a maximum of 5 team members. the team captain registers and buys the seperate 4 or 5 tickets for the whole team, so we know you’re all part of the same team. You can fill in your team name under ‘organisation’ or email it to info@vnc-china.nl.
2) Sign Up as an Individual
Sign up, and we will place you in a team with other individual participants. It’s a great opportunity to meet other China enthusiasts.
Registration and Costs
Participants pay €15.00 / VNC members and Students pay €7.50. For this price, you can participate in the quiz and receive a first drink and snacks.
Note! Workinglanguage is English. The number of spots for this popular event is limited.

20:45 – Interim standings and rounds 4 + 5

About the Quizmasters
The VNC China Pubquiz is organized by VNC in close collaboration with the quizmasters Fred Sengers and Ed Sander.
Fred Sengers is an independent publicist, speaker, and researcher on Modern China. He publishes about the news and its background and interpretation on his own website, www.blogaap.nl, discusses it in the media, gives guest lectures at universities and colleges, and is a frequently requested speaker and chairman at conferences, seminars, and workshops. He also offers advice and support to organizations that work closely with China.
Ed Sander from ChinaTalk is a China tech watcher & analyst. He writes for Tech Buzz China and ChinaTalk about digital innovation, technology, and also cultural differences between the Netherlands and China. Ed shares his knowledge of digital innovation on the internet and in retail in China as a speaker. Additionally, Ed organizes study and inspiration trips through ChinaTechTrip. During these trips, he combines his lectures with immersion in real Chinese life.
