Officiële online Opening “Landelijke Chinees Nieuwjaar, het Jaar van de Os” in Den Haag, gecombineerd met een spectaculair nieuwjaars programma en drie speelfilms!
Op 12 februari as. vindt de opening plaats van de 19e editie van het Landelijk Chinees Nieuwjaar, “Jaar van de Os” op een eigentijdse wijze en met een prachtig streamingsprogramma in combinatie met drie actuele Chinese speelfilms. Het speciale Nieuwjaarsprogramma blikt terug naar de hoogtepunten van 18 jaar “Landelijk Chinees Nieuwjaar in Den Haag” met prominenten uit de politiek en het bedrijfsleven, gelardeerd met artiestenoptredens, nieuwjaarswensen en interviews. De viering wordt -evenals voorgaande jaren- door de VNC gecoördineerd met de Chinese en Nederlandse organisaties. De viering van dit jaar staat ook in het teken van een goed doel. Vorig jaar werd het Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie in Utrecht uitverkoren. Wij steunen hen graag nog vele jaren bij hun belangrijke missie: Ieder kind met kanker genezen, met optimale kwaliteit van leven!
Door samenwerking van de VNC met Pathe Thuisbioscoop en het Shanghai Internationaal Film Festival (SIFF) wordt het mogelijk een mooi “cadeau” bestaande uit een Nieuwjaars programma en drie topfilms, gratis aan te bieden. De continuïteit van de landelijke viering is hierdoor gewaarborgd en de vele tienduizenden bezoekers, de meer dan 150.000 in Nederland wonende Chinezen, de leden van de deelnemende organisaties en de vele geïnteresseerden worden niet teleurgesteld. De gebruikelijke landelijke viering in het Stadhuis in Den Haag is vanwege het Coronavirus en de lockdown dit jaar niet mogelijk. De voorbereiding was al in gang en wordt nu omgezet naar online. Hopelijk zal de officiële opening in 2022 weer in het Stadhuis van Den Haag plaats vinden.
De SIFF bestaat sinds 1992 en heeft een sterke reputatie opgebouwd. De SIFF is het enige -door de Internationale Federatie van Film Producers (IFFP)- erkende, competitieve filmfestival in China. Door de medewerking van Pathe Thuisbioscoop en SIFF kunnen drie in het Engels ondertitelde “blockbusters” gratis worden aangeboden. De VNC is verheugd om met deze partners samen te werken en ziet er naar uit met hen in de nabije toekomst ook een filmfestival in Den Haag te organiseren.
Films zijn een krachtig medium, aldus Henk Kool Voorzitter van de VNC. Tezamen met ons periodieke magazine “China Nu” zal het bijdragen aan de versterking van de culturele banden tussen China en Nederland. De VNC is een onafhankelijke en zelfstandige organisatie die volgend jaar haar 45-jarig jubileum viert.
De streaming van het Nieuwjaars programma en de drie films is van 12 februari tot 12 maart 2021, is de opmaat voor een nieuwe traditie: Het Chinees Filmfestival met medewerking van Pathe (www.pathe-thuis.nl), VNC (www.vnc-china.nl) en SIFF (www.siff.com).

Official online Opening “National Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox” in The Hague,
The Netherlands combined with a spectacular New Year’s program and three feature films!
On February 12th the opening of the 19th edition of the National Chinese New Year, “Year of the Ox”, will take place in a new and contemporary way with a beautiful New year’s streaming program combined with three current Chinese films. The special New Year’s program looks back to the highlights of 18 years of celebrating the “National Chinese New Year in The Hague” with prominent figures, politicians and business leaders, interspersed with exciting artist performances, New Year’s wishes and interviews. As in previous years, the celebration is coordinated by the Dutch Chinese Association (VNC) with the Chinese and Dutch organizations. This year’s celebration will also be dedicated to a good cause. Last year, the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology in Utrecht was selected. We would like to support them for the years to come in their important mission: to cure every child with cancer, with optimal quality of life!
The cooperation of the VNC with Pathe Thuis and the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) makes it possible to offer a nice “gift” consisting of the New Year’s program and three top films for free. The continuity and progress of the National Chinese Celebration is assured and the many tens of thousands of visitors, over 150,000 Chinese living in the Netherlands, the members of the participating organizations and the many interested parties will not be disappointed. The conventional way of celebrating in the City Hall of The Hague will not be possible this year due to the Corona virus and the lockdown. Preparation had already started and is now converted to online. Hopefully the official opening will take place in the City Hall of The Hague again in 2022.
The SIFF has existed since 1992 and has built up a strong reputation. The SIFF is the only competitive film festival in China recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers (IFFP). Thanks to the cooperation with Pathe Thuis and SIFF, it is possible to offer three “blockbusters” subtitled in English for free. The VNC is delighted to work with these partners and looks forward to organizing a film festival in The Hague with them in the near future.
Films are a powerful medium, says Henk Kool Chairman of the Dutch China Association (VNC). Together with our magazine “China Nu”, it will contribute to strengthening the cultural ties between The Netherlands and China. The VNC is an independent organization that will celebrate its 45th anniversary next year.

2 月 12 日，第 19 届全荷新春庆典开幕式将以全新的方式进行，首次将精彩的新春流媒 体节目与三部当代华语电影相结合。新春特别节目将与知名人士、政界人士和商界领袖一道， 回顾“海牙全荷新春庆典”18 年来的庆祝活动亮点，并穿插精彩的艺术家表演、新春祝福和 访谈。与往年一样，庆典活动由荷中友好协会(VNC)与中荷双方组织协调举办。今年的庆 典仍将致力于公益事业。去年，乌得勒支的 Máxima 公主儿童肿瘤中心被选为了帮扶机构。 我们希望在未来的岁月里继续支持他们履行其重要使命，即治愈每一位患癌儿童，使他们拥 有最佳的生活质量。
