🎉 VNC celebrated Sinterklaas with Chinese families in The Hague! 🇳🇱🇨🇳

Last Sunday, the VNC organized a cheerful Sinterklaas afternoon — and what a wonderful party it was!

For many children it was the very first time that they could experience Sinterklaas together with mom and dad. Saint Nicholas was visibly delighted to see so many Chinese children, and their enthusiasm was contagious.

There was a loud singing along with “Sinterklaas Kapoentje” and “Sinterklaasje Bonne Bonne Bonne”, including a spontaneous singing competition between the boys and girls. Gingerbread cookies, chocolate milk, drawings for Sinterklaas… everything was there for a real Dutch party afternoon.

Many parents told how special it was to celebrate this typical Dutch celebration together for the first time.

And Sinterklaas also enjoyed it: he praised the children for their politeness and friendliness and liked to take pictures with everyone.

A big thank you to all the families who were there — you made it an unforgettable afternoon!
