The VNC publishes the quarterly magazine “China Now. This magazine provides news, background and analysis of Chinese society. Disappearing booksellers
Chinese authorities recently admitted to detaining some Hong Kong booksellers. These booksellers were selling books containing half-truths and sometimes whole truths about the private lives of top Chinese politicians. A book about Xi Jinping’s six mistresses is the likely reason for Beijing’s intervention.
