The members of the CoA support and strengthen the ambition of the VNC, to inform interested parties about Chinese society and promote contacts between the two peoples, both cultural and economic. The CoA supports the VNC in organizing various activities for its members, including symposia, workshops, language courses, excursions and exhibitions. In addition to organizing activities, the VNC provides information about China for its members and mediates contacts between Dutch and Chinese cities and provinces, between cultural and knowledge institutions, and between companies. In cooperation with others, the VNC aims to offer one coherent platform where businesses, governments, cultural organizations, scientific and educational institutions, as well as the government can find each other and reinforce each other, The CvA supports the board of the VNC in these activities by, among other things, giving advice and sharing knowledge.
