In a sharp and open interview, Lianne Baaij will speak with market analyst Jean-Paul van Oudheusden about the current state and future outlook of China’s stock markets. The conversation will delve into developments in Chinese equities, sector trends such as technology, green energy, and consumer markets, and the impact of government policy and regulation on market performance. How do geopolitical tensions, economic reforms, and shifting global supply chains influence investment strategies? About the Speaker:

Jean-Paul van Oudheusden graduated in 1996 as a business econometrician from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He learned professional investing at ABN AMRO and later at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he worked as a product specialist across several departments and had extensive contact with retail investors. Surprised that Shell and ING were still cornerstones of many Dutch investment portfolios in 2020, he founded Markets Are Everywhere, focusing on investment opportunities in, among others, the United States and China.

Through Markets Are Everywhere, Jean-Paul is affiliated with eToro, De Aandeelhouder, and BNP Paribas, with investor education consistently playing a central role. In his market analyses, he closely follows three major transitions: the digital transition, the energy transition, and the mobility transition. Naturally, the emergence of a new world order is also a recurring theme in his work.
