Story series: Chinese diaspora in NL and VNC New Year's drink
Sunday 25 Jan 2026 @ Verhalenhuis Belvedère, Rechthuislaan 1, 3072 LB Rotterdam
The Chinese diaspora in the Netherlands has a history of more than a century. This history is little known to many Dutch people. There have been several waves of migration of Chinese over the years. These migrants of the different waves show no visible difference in appearance, but all have their own history and motivation.
In this meeting we invite a few Famous Chinese Dutch (BCNers) who tell their story about their life in the Netherlands. Lecture will be held in Dutch and English.
Afterwards, VNC will hold a New Year’s drink together with InBetweeners. Sign up on time, because there are limited places! Two drinks are included in the entrance ticket.
