🎬 For the new drama series King of the Red Light District, DOOR van DOOREN Casting is looking for East Asian men of various ages and backgrounds.
The series, produced by VPRO and Lemming Film and directed by Tim Oliehoek, tells the story of Maurits “Zwarte Joop” de Vries and is set in Amsterdam from the 40s to the 80s.
For various scenes, DOOR van DOOREN Casting is looking for men with a Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Japanese, Korean or Mongolian background.
Within the series, we see a historic East Asian community that is part of Amsterdam city life at the time. DOOR van DOOREN Casting believes it is important to portray this community in an authentic and respectful way and is therefore looking for people who recognize themselves in this.
