Merry Christmas!
Anyone who has been to China more often will have noticed that ‘our’ Christian Christmas has also made its appearance in China. The Christmas cards and mega-sized Santa Clauses in a snowy landscape on illuminated stages are also not to be missed in southern cities, where it is 18 degrees or even warmer in December.
In this section, all kinds of different aspects of the Chinese language are discussed. The theme for this episode was not difficult to choose.
Sjuhngdandjeh kwaaile! 圣诞节快乐!圣诞 (Sjuhngdan) means Christmas, 节 (djeh) means holiday and 快乐 (kwaaile) means happy or happy.
